Biography
Dr. Daigle is a fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon. He received his medical degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada and went on to complete his residency in general surgery at the University of Toronto. Following his residency, Dr. Daigle completed the 2-year surgeon scientist fellowship in bariatric surgery at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Daigle is an accomplished researcher in the field of bariatric surgery and is an active member with the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders, the Obesity Action Coalition, and the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract. Within the ASMBS he serves on many committees and is Chair of the State and Local Chapters Committee. He is the recent past president of the Ohio and Kentucky ASMBS Chapter. He currently serves as Medical Director for Bariatric Surgery at Kaiser Permanente Washington.
